Field Hockey Goals Against Average Calculator A goalkeeper's goals against average is goals conceded scaled to a full match — so it depends on how long a match is. Field hockey's is 60 minutes now and was 70 before September 2014, and the two are not comparable. Field Hockey League Points Calculator Field hockey has no single points scheme. The FIH's own regulations pay 3 for a win and 1 for a draw; the Pro League and the Hockey India League settle every draw with a shoot-out and pay 2 and 1. The same results give a different table. Field Hockey Match Format Interpreter Field hockey is 60 minutes in four quarters under the current FIH Rules, and was 70 in two halves before September 2014. Indoor and Hockey5s are different again. Say which format and how far in you are. Field Hockey Penalty Shootout Interpreter A field hockey shoot-out is five attempts a side, eight seconds each, from the 23-metre line. It can end before all ten are taken. Enter the score and the attempts taken and this says whether it is already decided. Field Hockey Save Percentage Calculator Saves divided by shots faced, for a field hockey goalkeeper. The arithmetic is simple and the inputs are not: the FIH publishes no definition of a shot on goal and no shot totals, so the numbers have to come from your own record. Field Hockey Shooting Circle Area Calculator The field hockey shooting circle is not a semicircle. It is two arcs centred on the goal-posts joined by a straight line, and treating it as a semicircle loses the rectangle between the posts — 53.55 m², or 13.74% of the real area. Penalty Corner Conversion Rate Calculator Field hockey's penalty corner is the set piece most of its goals come from. Corner goals divided by corners — and the FIH Rules decide whether a corner awarded again counts as a new one, which changes the answer. Penalty Corner Goal Share Calculator Field hockey splits its goals three ways — field, penalty corner and penalty stroke — and the FIH publishes all three per tournament. This works out what share of the scoring came from each route.
